Bill Krohn called today to tell me that Film Comment writer Kent Jones liked the film. I used to make jokes about how my target audience was the 15 auteurist film critics in the world; a few of those people turn out actually to like the film, which is lucky, considering that they are practically the only ones.... Anyway, I'm pleased, and I'll be even more please if he suggests the film to the Rotterdam Film Festival, for which he is a scout.
