These shots (there are four of them) were taken after the first buildin collapse (the one hit by the second highjacked plane). Almost as soon as the building fell, a cloud of dust plumed out covering the entire width of lower Manhattan, from Battery Park City to the Woolworth Building--that is, as far as we could see from our building.
