When I'm not working or walking, I'm likely to have a book or a pen in my hand. So far, I'm writing mostly for pleasure rather than money, though I haven't turned down cash when it's been offered. (Computers and editing pay the bills, so I can write when I feel like it; the problem with that approach is that it all too easily becomes an excuse to do something easier but less rewarding, like play solitaire against the computer.)

I do an irregularly scheduled science fiction fanzine, Quipu. Some short pieces of autobiographical writing are on the journals section of this page. If you'd like to see more of my writing, and a lot of other good personal writing, visit Nerdnosh, the Virtual Campfire. I hung out there for about three years. These days, I can be found on the Spoon mailing list, which also has a home page where you can find out what we're about and how to sign up.

Lucy Huntzinger's page includes an excellent online journal. Luke McGuff is another friend of mine, whose home page collects some of his recent writing and is well worth a visit.
