In early morning, butterflies pollinate chive flowers.





English thyme, orange balsam thyme (in bloom), and variegated lemon thyme.





Garlic chives send up shoots by a bed of English thyme.





Violas and marigolds provide a swath of spring color.




Potentilla (cinquefoil), returned from winter dormancy, begins its bloom.
