The great, grand, glorious, 1999 New York Playford Ball will be held from 8PM to midnight on April 8th. The location is the ballroom of Temple Beth Elohim, Garfield St. and 8th Ave, in Park Slope, Brooklyn. MapBlast Map!

Countdown to the Ball

Presiding are Fried de Metz Herman and Paul Ross, while music will be provided by MGM (Mary Lea, Maragaret Ann Martin, and Gene Murrow).

The dances on the program are:

A rehearsal of dances will be held at the site from 3 to 5.

Preparation for ball dances will be at the regular Tuesday classes at Duane Hall, 7PM-10:15, starting February 22nd. So there is no excuse!

Registration is $28 a head. Send payment to Ellie Hansen/Bob Erenburg, 25 Coddington Terr., Livingston, NJ 07039, checks payable to CD*NY.

Until February 1st, CDNY members will be given priority. Organizers have promised "A reasonable attempt at gender balance." From past experience, this means unaccompanied women should register early; and to all you men who have not registered yet, shame on you!

Acceptances, with dance booklets, travel directions, etc., will be mailed early in March.

Those cancelling before March 1st will receive a complete refund; between March 1st and March 22nd ½ refund.
