Tower, located on Broadway and Fourth street,  is a shining example of The Man at work.    A huge cd superstore with a vast selection, it has single handedly shut down a large number of the small indie record and cd stores.  Back when there was only one location near Lincon Center and the cd's filled one set of shelves behind the elevator banks, it was a hip store with low priced records.  Now, there are no records and there aren't that much in the way of bargains.  Still, they have a fairly extensive selection in all music genres.
