      Woke up very early and couldn't go back asleep so took a little
      walk around to see some views. Tbilisi has a very interesting
      blend of castles and a fortress from the Middle Ages, European
      looking townhouses, middle eastern influence, Soviet era
      apartment buildings, and modern architecture. Things don't
      really open up this early so we had the streets to ourselves
      for the most part.  I'm excited to see more when the city 
      wakes up!

      We passed through the mineral springs district and saw the
      very photogenic tiled bathhouse. Tbilisi comes from a word
      that means warm mineral spring and there are lots of bathhouses 
      with sulfurous mineral water that's supposed to be very good
      for you. We also hiked up a hill for a view and the path went
      down some residential side roads which was very interesting
      to see.
