We've been enjoying an incredible run of Indian Summer weather here. I've been out every day, usually twice. Bird sightings have been hit or miss but just being in the outdoors has been worth it. In fact, the Japanese have a word for it: Shinrin-yoku. It means "forest bathing." Try it sometime. These pictures are all panoramas. The first is 360 degrees. The path you see at the left and right of center, that's the same path. One is looking forward the other is looking back. The last photo is from Walnut Creek Park. It's close by but I've hardly ever been there. The lake is way bigger than the beaver pond and the park has about three times the trails so I might start exploring it some. |
