I am a doctoral researcher in information security at the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology, where I am supervised by David Basin.

I’m also a research engineer at the Freedom of the Press Foundation. I previously spent five years as a maintainer of the open-source SecureDrop whistleblowing system and helped design the SecureDrop Protocol for end-to-end–encrypted communications between journalists and sources. I now support formal modeling and verification of the SecureDrop Protocol.

I strive to ground my technical work in civic values and critical practices, drawing from public-interest technology, radical computer science, and science and technology studies.
