Recipe from: Louise Austin
This recipe is from my aunt, Louise Austin, from the cookbook, What's Cooking with FLO?, favorite bayou country recipes of FLO (For Ladies Only) from the First Baptist Church in Napoleonville, Louisiana published in 1990.
5 pounds jumbo or large shrimp
1 small bottle Worcestershire sauce
1 small bottle Italian salad dressing
1 small bottle olive oil, about 1 cup
1 stick oleo, melted
3 lemons, sliced and squeezed
plenty of salt and pepper
8 cloves garlic, chopped
1 handful crab boil
1 bay leaf, crushed, optional
2 sliced onions
Place raw shrimp in large pan and pour in all ingredients. Place in oven at 350°F and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with garlic bread.
