Kung Nueng Krathiam Thon (Prawns Steamed with Garlic) กุ้งนึ่งกระเทียมโทน

The name of the recipe literally means "one of a kind steamed prawns with garlic".

1 pound medium size river prawns
15 small cloves of garlic
10 garlic rounds
2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro root
2 tablespoons light soy sauce

Wash, shell and devein the prawns and place on a plate. Finely chop the small cloves of garlic and the cilantro roots and sprinkle over the prawns. Place the peeled garlic rounds on the plate. Sprinkle the prawns with soy sauce. Place the prawns in a steamer which the water has already begun to boil and steam until done, about 10 minutes. Serve right away.
