Agency Procedures

The standard procedure when a temp applies for work:
Anyone can fax us or email us or call us. The person's info is given to the right person, and we set up an appointment. We test well, we take the time to find out the applicant's strengths, preferences, preferred work site, et al., and we try to match them up to a rocking client.

Waiting times:
Totally varies.

How this agency screens registered temps to decide which to send out:
We test on current software, check out books, chat.

Standby policy:
No way no how. That's mean. Way mean. Icky.

Informing temps of their rights and responsibilities:
Whenever a freelancer has a problem, be it rate, harrassment, anything, they can reach us at any time. We're technically saavy, and pretty darn nice, so we're primed to help.

Agency Policies and Priorities:

Distinctive aspects of the agency:
We're nice. We only place jobs that we can execute ourselves. Everyone who works here has also freelanced, including for Seven Staffing, which is key.

Role of the temp agency:
Our job is to treat everyone well, and perform in the role that clients *and* freelancers request of us.

The five most important characteristics for a temp:
Combination of rocking skills, and excellent attitude. Same thing we expect from ourselves.

Advice for prospective temps:
Be on time. Be friendly.

Aiding temps in finding permanent work:
We do a good amount of permanent placement. If that's what someone is seeking, that's what we'll try to find for them.

(b) in other firms:

Other comments:
We're an eccentric and eclectic bunch, and people seem to genuinely like working with us. We're attitude free, and know what we're doing. Shameless plug, yes... but I hope you'll find it's true, too.

Note that all reviews are individual contributions and do not represent the opinion of the site administrator. They have not been independently verified, so there is nothing to stop someone from posting a pack of lies. Some agencies with great reviews may be really bad, and some agencies with bad reviews may be really great. As with everything online, be careful and don't believe everything you read. I take no responsibility for what comes up when you google yourself.
