Comments:
Medical policy is unrealistic. One has a better chance of finding their own policy outside Custom. No paid vacations, or vacation days. My primary work is at an investment bank, where holidays are constant but the bankers work anyway, so we will be called in maybe 40% of the time. An investment bank will have a holiday at the drop of a hat but still work 24-7. Custom makes extremely little effort to find you work on a holiday, if they know you are a long term employee, at a bank. Other agencies I've worked for will give holiday pay (an 8 hour day at current rate) if you work the day before the holiday and the day after. But I'm sure that depended on the contract.

I've had several time cards come up "missing" and paychecks off. Getting the lost money is relatively painless, and they always claim the adjustment is their fault, it's just a huge pain in the butt.

Turnover in the office is constant. The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing, and who handles your account changes every fifteen minutes. I work a night shift and the agency is notorious for calling early in the morning when I've had 3 hours of sleep.

The software in the office is really antiquated, and up to date information is non-existent. You have to go over everything, again, and again.

However, the only reason I'm with them is the rate. They pay well and speedy if you really know what you're doing. They apologies a lot for mishaps and that much sincerity only goes so far. They are my link to the bank and merely the middle man. If I could set myself up with another agency (the last one gave me a week's vacation a year but the assignments were limited) I would jump at the chance. Oh, also, if you don't know to ask about any benefit, they DO NOT freely offer the information.
