Comments:
Types of jobs reported on -- is it your impression that they were typical of the kinds of jobs this agency had?: Word Processing, Secretarial, Number-crunching, also technical division.

Salary or salary range or salary promised/given: $12-17 promised. I've worked for $13.50, $14, $15 and $16.50.

Benefits: health insurance premiums or $50, whichever is less. Also one paid vacation day per 280 hours after the first 280 hours, up to 5 days. Reset every January 1.

Comments: Leafstone's downtown branch is relatively small, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Of course, one downside of this is that they don't have outside pickups for time sheets, but that can sometimes be more hassle than it's worth.

My first assignment at Leafstone, as a secretary for a small division of an investment banking house, lasted four months. It paid $15 an hour, which is at the bottom of market range, but my supervisors were honest and respectful, which is very important to me.
