Comments:
First of all, I am currently employed with Premier Group as a Presentation Operator. But being is that this is an anonymous post, I really don't stand to gain anything by posting it.

After reading the other review, I was surprised to hear about such a bad experience, but giving it more thought, I guess I can see where this is coming from.

I am sure that this person is not alone in feeling rejected, but being rejected in an honest an open fasion is respectable... not being called for 10-months while you're "supposedly" hired is not. And all of the people at Premier are honest an open and sometimes the truth hurts.

Fact is, graphics training isn't even part of Premier Group's current offerings (although it is a plus), so this other poster who harped about his graphics skills obviously still doesn't get that.

Another fact is, I don't care WHERE you've used the Microsoft products, investment institutions use them uniquely (largly macro driven), and if you don't understand the absolute core of the packages, you will not be able to handle most jobs where the macros either break down or fail you (which happens, A LOT).

I did not know until actually taking the training how much I did not know... and I was extremely confident about my skills going in having used these software packages for over 7 years before training with Premier.

Like with any group of people, some are a little over the top than others, but in general Premier Group is a class bunch and having had experiences with quite a few temp agencies, I really can't imagine leaving.

I've had my disagreements with staff, but that's part of working with an agency that puts an effort forth toward making sure things are as they should be for the client and the temp alike.

I'll leave with one more fact: NO agency is more respected at the actual jobsite then Premier Group... NONE. And yes, that has as much to do with who they accept as it does who they reject.

And to the gentlemen who wrote the other post: hey, I hope things worked out for you, but I really don't think you've got the best perspective on the place. It particularly bothers me that you refer to your ethnicity as the reason for your rejection, since I do not know of another agency (spare Simpson Personnel also in Manhattan) who is more diverse in terms of their work force. But hey, hard to see all of that when you're only there for an hour or so, so all that is understood.
