Comments:
A terrible agency, not condusive to the temp's needs. I don't think they know what temping means. Agency is always a madhouse, with tons of people waiting in reception area. Lost my time sheet, and gave me big attitude when I asked them to cut me a manual check. My counselor, Karen Ann Price, is very cheerful, but watch out and never trust. My assignment ended without warning at exactly the 6 month marker. It was supposed to be long-term, on -going.(Nothing new there) But Karen Ann told me she would forward my resume to other counselors in the agency, I suspected she did not. The agency was running ads for word processor operators in the NY Times at the time my "assignment ended", but I never got offered any of those assignments. After persuing Karen Ann and never getting a response to my calls and messages, I registered for unemployment insurance. I received 3 weeks of benefits before I started another assignment with another agency. 6 months later I get a notice from the Unemployment Office saying that Forrest Edwards is contesting my benefits because "I performed misconduct on the job to make my work deterioate." I never got any verbal or written notice from the agency or the agency never communicated to me any complaints from the client. Nonetheless, the judge at the Unemployment Hearing threw their claim out of court, But I thought it was such a petty, reprehensible thing for Forrest Edwards to do. Never sign up with them, they are a pimping agency!
