SUMMARY:
T3 Media collaborated closely with American Express to arrive at a strategy for the new Small Business Exchange. T3 Media was responsible for rebuilding this major corporate Internet property from the ground up, devising all-new branding, design, and long-term technology strategies. The new logo was used across all media in long-term marketing and promotions.

The Small Business Exchange site features a wealth of information for current and aspiring Small Business owners in the form of thousands of articles and free advice from experts. It also serves up a wide variety of special discounts and savings for business users of the American Express Card. Multiple American Express business units needed to be represented within the Small Business Exchange. The new Small Business Exchange allowed American Express to drive new and existing customers alike to its ever-growing family of Small Business-oriented products and services.

The existing site had substantial content, but it was poorly organized, and information was difficult to find. To solve this problem T3 Media worked with American Express to re-organize their content, and position it so that users could find what they needed with only a few clicks. The solution is a database-driven, dynamically generated site with an entirely new look and feel. Editorial content and marketing-driven information is brought together seamlessly in a fully searchable environment. The user interface was shaped significantly by input from usability lab testers.

Powered by three large T3 Media-designed relational databases, the new site presents all Small Business Services offerings within the context of relevant editorial content, thereby allowing visitors to locate solutions they seek quickly and efficiently. The pairing of editorial content and product solutions is accomplished dynamically, driven by choices the customer makes while using the site.
