Some good words for Timex's Customer Service

After almost 3 years of reliable service, my 150 developed a problem (the Mode button fell off). Problems like this occur even with the best products - what makes the difference is how the vendor handles the problem after it occurs. I'm happy to give Timex an A+ grade with honors for their response.

After calling up their 800 number, my call was picked up on the third ring. I was quickly transferred to the appropriate department where a courteous rep immediately stated that this is a known issue with some earliest models and offered to replace the watch. A couple of days later, the replacement was in my mailbox.

I had heard a lot of good things about Timex customer service in the past, and how the company stands behind their products. I can now personally confirm the same.
