Adopted at the party\u2019s 2016 convention, it has been carried over through 2024 after the executive committee of the Republican National Committee on Wednesday chose not to adopt a new platform for 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The platform censures the \u201ccurrent\u201d president \u2014 who in 2016 was, of course, Barack Obama \u2014 and his administration for, among other things, imposing \u201ca social and cultural revolution,\u201d causing a \u201chuge increase in the national debt\u201d and damaging relationships with international partners.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Republican Party decided that they did not need to update their party platform from what they had in 2016, so it includes a condemnation of the current President.
