{"id":176925,"date":"2020-02-17T20:13:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T01:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2020\/02\/17\/mike-bloomberg-is-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving\/"},"modified":"2020-02-17T20:13:00","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T01:13:00","slug":"mike-bloomberg-is-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2020\/02\/17\/mike-bloomberg-is-the-gift-that-keeps-on-giving\/","title":{"rendered":"Mike Bloomberg Is the Gift That Keeps on Giving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am beginning to think that Michael Bloomberg is running for President to provide cover for the racist resort of Pete Buttigieg.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike Buttigieg, whose hostility can only be divined from his actions as mayor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en_us\/article\/884mxp\/mike-bloomberg-in-2011-enormous-cohort-of-young-black-and-latino-men-dont-know-how-to-behave-in-the-workplace\">Bloomberg is on tape many times saying unbelievably racist bullsh%$<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: blue;\">While promoting a multi-million dollar initiative to \u201creduce disparities\u201d as the mayor of New York City in 2011, Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg said \u201cenormous cohorts\u201d of young black and Latino men \u201cdon&#8217;t know how to behave in the workplace where they have to work collaboratively and collectively.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg made the remarks during an interview with PBS Newshour, as he promoted his Young Men\u2019s Initiative, a $127 million, three-year program funded in part by Bloomberg\u2019s charitable organization, financier George Soros\u2019 Open Society Foundations, and the city of New York. \u201cBlacks and Latinos score terribly in school testing compared to whites and Asians. If you look at our jails, it\u2019s predominantly minorities,\u201d Bloomberg said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at where crime takes place, it\u2019s in minority neighborhoods. If you look at who the victims and the perpetrators are, it\u2019s virtually all minorities,\u201d Bloomberg continued. \u201cThis is something that has gone on for a long time, I assume it\u2019s prevalent elsewhere but it\u2019s certainly true in New York City.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This guy has made racism a central part of his public personae, and when juxtaposed with scores of allegations of sexual harassment at his company, this guy should not be able to be elected dog catcher.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am beginning to think that Michael Bloomberg is running for President to provide cover for the racist resort of Pete Buttigieg.
