They convicted Noor of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter but acquitted him of the most serious count \u2014 second-degree murder.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">Noor, who was fired from the department after the shooting, is the second officer in recent Minnesota history to be charged with an on-duty fatal shooting. St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez was acquitted in 2017 in the fatal shooting of Philando Castile during a 2016 traffic stop.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">The prosecution\u2019s sprawling case against Noor raised alarming questions about Minneapolis police conduct and the BCA.
