campaign for 2020. <\/p>\n<p>In the Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/hillary-will-run-again-1541963599\">op-ed<\/a>, Penn, an adviser and pollster to the Clintons from 1995-2008, and former New York City politician Andrew Stein wrote that in a 2020 run, Clinton would reinvent herself \u201cas a liberal firebrand.&#8221; The twice-failed presidential candidate would not \u201clet a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House,&#8221; they wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Although she has routinely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/10\/17\/hillary-clinton-says-she-will-not-run-again-for-president-but-will-continue-to-call-out-trump.html\">shot down<\/a> talk of a 2020 run, Clinton said in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recode.net\/2018\/10\/27\/18032550\/hillary-clinton-kara-swisher-92y-recode-decode-live-podcast-transcript\">interview<\/a> earlier this month that &#8220;I\u2019d like to be president&#8221;
