Final sale prices, which won\u2019t be known until the deals close, will probably reflect even greater reductions, said Donna Olshan, president of the brokerage that compiled the report.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost things at $4 million and above are selling 15 to 20 percent below the original ask,\u201d Olshan said. \u201cIt\u2019s a data point that screams: The market is overpriced!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Owners who prevail in selling their homes are conceding that Manhattan\u2019s luxury market is brimming with choices, and that even well-heeled buyers are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2018-01-03\/manhattan-home-resales-tumble-as-tax-overhaul-sidelines-buyers\">sensitive to price<\/a>.
