Trump\u2019s campaign brought the site\u2019s brand of reactionary populism into the mainstream \u2014 and its former mastermind <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/daily\/intelligencer\/2017\/02\/trump-not-fully-briefed-on-bannon-nsc-order-report.html\">into the West Wing<\/a>. By the time the ballots were cast, no other news outlet had <a href=\"https:\/\/fivethirtyeight.com\/features\/trump-made-breitbart-great-again\/\">grown its audience<\/a> more over the 2016 cycle. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">And Breitbart, of course, supplied Trump with a megaphone, a strategist, and relentlessly positive coverage \u2014 even when the mogul\u2019s campaign manager <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/daily\/intelligencer\/2016\/03\/reporter-files-charges-against-trump-aide.html\">low-key battered<\/a> one of the site\u2019s reporters. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">So, Breitbart\u2019s latest headline on the Trump-Ryan health-care plan is probably causing some consternation at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/QoW03WD.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/QoW03WD.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Any heartburn being experienced by Steve Bannon, former editor-in-chief of <i>Breitbart<\/i>, is the source of much pleasure for me personally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breitbart News just came out against Trumpcare: Donald Trump has been very good for the news business \u2014 and the news business has been very good for Donald Trump.
