It\u2019s enlightening for them.\u201d<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">\u201cSo if you\u2019ve got nothing going on there but a beautiful religious service, why in His name would you not want to have police officers there?\u201d he asked.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>here is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/sheets\/33914\">a bit of Jewish History<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: blue;\">The fifth-century Persian king Yezdegerd forbade the recitation of<i> Shema<\/i>.
