The hearing in the contentious case \u2014 Apple has loudly opposed opening the iPhone, citing privacy concerns and igniting a heated debate \u2014 was originally set for Tuesday.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">While the Justice Department must test this method, if it works \u201cit should eliminate the need for the assistance from Apple,\u201d it said in its filing.
