{"id":182406,"date":"2015-09-30T18:26:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-30T23:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2015\/09\/30\/stop-whining-bitches\/"},"modified":"2015-09-30T18:26:00","modified_gmt":"2015-09-30T23:26:00","slug":"stop-whining-bitches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2015\/09\/30\/stop-whining-bitches\/","title":{"rendered":"Stop Whining, Bitches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am referring, of course to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2015\/sep\/30\/saudi-arabia-warns-there-is-no-future-for-assad-in-syria\">House of Saud<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: blue;\">Saudi Arabia has called on Bashar al-Assad to give up power or be removed by force, raising the global stakes at a time when the Russians are shipping troops and military hardware to Syria in an effort to prop up its beleaguered leader.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">The threat was made on Tuesday by Saudi Arabia\u2019s foreign minister, Adel Al-Jubeir.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">\u201cThere is no future for Assad in Syria,\u201d Jubeir told journalists at the UN general assembly. \u201cThere are two options for a settlement in Syria. One option is a political process where there would be a transitional council. The other option is a military option, which also would end with the removal of Bashar al-Assad from power.\u201d<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">\u201cThis could be a more lengthy process and a more destructive process but the choice is entirely that of Bashar al-Assad.\u201d The foreign minister did not specify how Assad would be forcibly removed, but pointed out that Saudi Arabia is already backing \u201cmoderate rebels\u201d in the civil war.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: blue;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: blue;\">The Saudi intervention fuelled an already heated row at the UN over Syria\u2019s future, where the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, issued a forthright defence of the Syrian regime, describing it as fighting a lonely and \u201cvaliant\u201d battle against Islamic State extremists.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You know, I know that you have all kinds of butthurt over the fact that the secular<sup>*<\/sup> Arab government in Damascus is still standing, even after they created ISIS to attempt to create another Sunni dominated sectarian state.<\/p>\n<p>You are not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that you are unable to accomplish your agenda in that part of the world is a good thing.<\/p>\n<p><sup>*<\/sup><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">And murderous.
