(See <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2015-03-18\/fed-drops-patient-stance-opening-door-to-june-rate-increase\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/fed-cuts-patient-but-still-wary-on-rates-1426701929\">here<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/03\/19\/business\/economy\/fed-interest-rates-fomc-meeting.html\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not a change in policy, it&#8217;s simply making a bit more likely that will make a statement that they might change policy some time in the future, or, as Fed Chair Janet Yellen said, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/janet-yellen-fomc-press-conference-march-2015-2015-3\">Just because we removed the word &#8216;patient&#8217; doesn&#8217;t mean we&#8217;re going to be impatient<\/a>.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s kind of a tempest in a teapot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The finance world is freaking out because the latest Federal Reserve statement has dropped the word, &#8220;Patient,&#8221; from the text.
