He said he had always intended to stay a maximum of 18 months, noting that he was right on schedule.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Frustration with the Defense Department\u2019s slow pace of transferring approved prisoners,&#8221; my ass.<\/p>\n<p>The military is not a democracy.  Barack Obama is commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n<p>If someone is dragging their feet, Obama can fire them.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, I would argue that he has a moral obligation to fire them.<\/p>\n<p>Guant\u00e1namo is more than a moral cancer on America.
