(Half good, half &#8220;meh&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>Just be glad that we are not in the Euro zone, where <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/business\/2012\/oct\/31\/eurozone-unemployment-record-high-eurostat\">the Euro zone unemployment rate hit a record high<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;In other news, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/2012-11-01\/us-consumer-confidence-at-highest-since-feb-dot-2008\">consumer confidence hit a 5 year high<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2012-11-01\/ism-index-of-u-s-manufacturing-increased-to-51-7-in-october.html\">Institute for Supply Management&#8217;s manufacturing index rose to a 5 month high<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the big news will the the NFP numbers that drop at 8:30am EDT tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Initial jobless claims fell by 9K, and the 4-week moving average fell slightly too, though continuing claims and extended claims rose.
