Why it&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2012\/02\/girl_scouts_are_a_radicalized_organization_promoting_homosexuality_says_indiana_republican.php\">Girl Scouts of America<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"color: blue;\"><p>Next time you buy a box of Tagalongs, you might be helping to fund an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Or, at least, that\u2019s what one Republican lawmaker in Indiana might have you believe. State Rep. Bob Morris (R) wants to kill a resolution honoring the Girl Scouts because they are a \u201cradicalized organization\u201d that promotes \u201chomosexual lifestyles\u201d and funds Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to his fellow Republicans on Saturday, Morris said he would refuse to support a resolution celebrating 100 years of the organization because \u201cafter talking to some well-informed constituents, I did a small amount of web-based research, and what I found is disturbing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter, obtained by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.journalgazette.net\/article\/20120220\/BLOGS01\/120229962\"><i>Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette<\/i><\/a>,  says that the Girl Scouts of America and the World Association of Girl  Guides \u201chave entered into a close strategic affiliation with Planned  Parenthood,\u201d though \u201cyou will not find evidence of this on the  GSA\/WAGGGS website\u2014in fact, the websites of these two organizations  explicitly deny funding Planned Parenthood.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Seriously, when did those guys with newspapers wrapped around their feet and standing on street corners screaming obscenities at passers by become the Republican Party mainstream?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest target of their mishugas?
