{"id":185108,"date":"2011-10-10T20:26:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-11T01:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2011\/10\/10\/ok-maybe-she-has-a-chance\/"},"modified":"2011-10-10T20:26:00","modified_gmt":"2011-10-11T01:26:00","slug":"ok-maybe-she-has-a-chance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2011\/10\/10\/ok-maybe-she-has-a-chance\/","title":{"rendered":"OK, Maybe She Has a Chance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth Warren&#8217;s Senate campaign raised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/politics\/la-pn-elizabeth-warren-fundraising-20111010,0,6213339.story\">$3.15 million in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> quarter<\/a>, more than double Wall Street darling Scott Brown&#8217;s haul of $1.55 million:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"color: blue;\"><p>&nbsp;Consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren is off to a quick start when it comes to raising money for her Senate campaign in Massachusetts, with a debut total &#8212; $3.15 million &#8212; that may even out-perform some of the Republican candidates for president.<\/p>\n<p>Warren, who helped set up the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and is a favorite candidate among progressives, announced the impressive third-quarter haul in an email to her supporters Monday.
