{"id":188693,"date":"2010-08-10T20:34:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-11T01:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2010\/08\/10\/primary-night-2\/"},"modified":"2010-08-10T20:34:00","modified_gmt":"2010-08-11T01:34:00","slug":"primary-night-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2010\/08\/10\/primary-night-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary Night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unfortunately, we just got money manager, and Corproatocrat Michael Bennet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/ci_15735379\">won the primary for Colorado Senate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s bad on policy, and he was a money man who as superintendent, allowed the Denver School District in invest in disastrous interest rate swaps, when he should have known better, and that will be a real vulnerability.<\/p>\n<p>In Connecticut, <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2010\/08\/linda-mcmahon-wins-ct-sen-republican-primary.php\">crotch kicker, and co-conspirator in steroid distribution, Linda McMahon won the GOP Senatorial primary<\/a>, should make for a fun election.<\/p>\n<p>Also, in the CT Governor&#8217;s race, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfsb.com\/politics\/24585431\/detail.html\">Ned Lamont lost the primary to Dan Malloy<\/a>, which makes me mildly disappointed, I still appreciate Lamont saving the Democratic Party in 2006 by showing that running against the Iraq war was a winner, but I really have not followed this race too closely.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/electionresults.sos.state.mn.us\/20100810\/ElecRslts.asp?M=CG&amp;R=ALL&amp;PN=0000\">In Minnesota<\/a>, Keith Ellison, the only Moslem in the Congress, resoundingly wins renomination, good for the people of Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally,  Bachmann ran unopposed, so we will have plenty we w the crazy from her as she continues to campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unfortunately, we just got money manager, and Corproatocrat Michael Bennet won the primary for Colorado Senate.
