{"id":189034,"date":"2010-06-04T09:50:00","date_gmt":"2010-06-04T14:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2010\/06\/04\/people-who-piss-me-off\/"},"modified":"2010-06-04T09:50:00","modified_gmt":"2010-06-04T14:50:00","slug":"people-who-piss-me-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2010\/06\/04\/people-who-piss-me-off\/","title":{"rendered":"People Who Piss Me Off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Got a telemarketer calling on a pre-recorded message, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">with no caller ID<\/span>, saying &#8220;Press 1&#8221; for an operator to refinance my house.<\/p>\n<p>I talked to this guy, who refused to tell me the name of the company and contact information, but said that the loan officer could once I gave him information.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, I threw out bogus numbers, got to the loan officer, asked him questions, explaining that giving him financial information to someone required that.<\/p>\n<p>While I was doing this, I was filling out the <a href=\"https:\/\/complaints.donotcall.gov\/complaint\/complaintcheck.aspx\">FTC&#8217;s complaint form<\/a>, and when I got his phone and url, I had all I needed.<\/p>\n<p>I confirmed that we had no prior business relationship, and he said that my number might have expired from the <a href=\"https:\/\/donotcall.gov\/default.aspx\">FTC&#8217;s Do Not Call List<\/a>, which, was a lie, since the number never expire.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s hoping that the rat bastard gets cited and fined.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Got a telemarketer calling on a pre-recorded message, with no caller ID, saying &#8220;Press 1&#8221; for an operator to refinance my house.
