City of New London<\/a>?  That&#8217;s where the city of New London took people&#8217;s homes in order to build a business park for Pfizer.<\/p>\n<p>Well, following it&#8217;s purchase of Wyeth, they are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/politics\/Pfizer-deserts-its-monument-to-corporate-welfare-69680477.html\">closing their facility there<\/a>, (also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/blogs\/beltway-confidential\/Pfizer-abandons-site-of-infamous-Kelo-eminent-domain-taking-69580497.html\">here<\/a>) leaving the city with a big honking hole, and Pfizer looking to sell the land, for which it paid nearly nothing, and building.<\/p>\n<p>You know, when you give free sh$# to contemptible greed-heads, this is what they do:  They f@#$ you over when it&#8217;s convenient.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, the plaintiffs in Kelo are as unamused as anyone in this development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You remember Kelo v.
