(230 page PDF)<\/p>\n<p>I had said that <a href=\"http:\/\/40yrs.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/ill-believe-it-when-i-see-it.html\">they wouldn&#8217;t because it would be so awful<\/a> that it would drive fence-sitters the other way.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that I was right on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> part though, it <a href=\"http:\/\/wonkroom.thinkprogress.org\/2009\/11\/03\/gop-leadership-plan\/\">looks to be te suck<\/a>.  Main features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removes state jurisdiction from insurance companies.  (Freeing the market, don&#8217;t you know).<\/li>\n<li>Whacks malpractice claims with little or no savings. (Lack of savings has been proven in around a dozen states now.)<\/li>\n<li>Assigns pre-existing conditions to very high risk pools, and does not require insurers to cover them.<\/li>\n<li>Does not prohibit rescission, the cancellation of insurance when you get sick.<\/li>\n<li>Allows employers to form groups to buy insurance, but allows insurance companies to exclude companies with workforces that are too sick, or too old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alan Grayson ha the summary weeks ago:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 153);\"><p>If you get sick America, the Republican health care plan is this: die quickly.
