Something that really has a lot of sharp edges . . . will look big and bright to an RF [sensor], but it might be real, real cold,\u201d says McGrath. \u201cSo, it doesn\u2019t look that way to an IR [sensor]. I like to think of this as our two-color approach to life.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Additionally, it looks like they are working at integrating the system with the Navy&#8217;s Aegis fire control system, which implies that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationweek.com\/publication\/awst\/loggedin\/AvnowStoryDisplay.do?fromChannel=awst&amp;pubKey=awst&amp;channel=awst&amp;issueDate=2009-08-17&amp;story=xml\/awst_xml\/2009\/08\/17\/AW_08_17_2009_p42-157475.xml&amp;headline=MDA+Eyes+21-in.-Dia.+Thaad+Booster\">the reports that the MDA is looking at a larger 21, up from 14\u00bd in diameter booster<\/a>, (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">paid subscription required<\/span>) the size of the standard Navy torpedo, cruise missile, and Standard missile, are about possibly mounting the missile on board a ship, as well as improving the missile kinematics.<\/p>\n<p>Still, I am dubious of reports that<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationweek.com\/publication\/awst\/loggedin\/AvnowStoryDisplay.do?fromChannel=awst&amp;pubKey=awst&amp;channel=awst&amp;issueDate=2009-08-17&amp;story=xml\/awst_xml\/2009\/08\/17\/AW_08_17_2009_p50-161716.xml\">the MDA is looking at moving to deployment on any of its systems<\/a>.
