{"id":191729,"date":"2009-06-30T20:18:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-01T01:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2009\/06\/30\/credit-where-credit-is-due-6\/"},"modified":"2009-06-30T20:18:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-01T01:18:00","slug":"credit-where-credit-is-due-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2009\/06\/30\/credit-where-credit-is-due-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Credit Where Credit is Due"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Joe Scarborough&#8217;s show on MSNBC, Chuck Todd said that the emperor had no clothes, when he said that in the Ricci case that, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/mmtv\/200906300004\">&#8220;he majority actually, well, to put it bluntly, legislated from the bench<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I have repeatedly called Chuck Todd, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/40yrs.blogspot.com\/search?q=chuck+todd\">one of the stupidest muthf%$#ers in the White House press room<\/a>,&#8221; for his sometime absurdly naive acceptance of the beltway conventional wisdom.<\/p>\n<p>This is not one of those times though.
