I had all the data elsewhere, so I pick up a new drive, the 4GB variant for about $12 at the Radio Shack<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, which is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">lot<\/span> cheaper than the $50 or so that I recall paying for the 1GB version.<\/p>\n<p>Wouldn&#8217;t you know it, the next day, I find my old drive.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, I didn&#8217;t find it, Sharon<sup>*<\/sup> did, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">in the dryer<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>It had gone through the wash, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">AND<\/span> the dryer, and it looked little worse for the wear.  The printing on the case was a bit worn, but that could have happened over the past 15 months sitting in my pocket.<\/p>\n<p>So, I leave it out and open for a day to ensure full drying, and I put it in my computer, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ALL THE DATA IS THERE<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, this product has my seal of approval.<\/p>\n<p><sup>*<\/sup><span style=\"font-size:78%;\">Love of my life, light of the cosmos, <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps; font-weight: bold;\"><span>she who must be obeyed<\/span><\/span>, my wife.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OK, so I lost a memory stick that I&#8217;ve had for about 1\u00bcyears, Sandisk USB 2 Micro Cruzer 1Gb Pendrive U3.
