He added 176 votes while counting 933 ballots, which means that Franken polled 18.9% better on absentee ballots.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that Obama&#8217;s push on early and absentee balloting paid off here.<\/p>\n<p>Seriusly though, it&#8217;s game over, and <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2009\/01\/reid_coleman_has_lost_and_he_s.php\">Harry Reid<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2009\/01\/schumer_franken_has_won_senate.php\">Chuck Schumer<\/a> have both called for Coleman to concede.<\/p>\n<p>The vote is expected to be certified some time today, at which point Coleman is expected to mount a challenge in the courts, but the burden of proof will then be on him.<\/p>\n<p>In the mean time, <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/leading-the-news\/reid-cracks-senate-door-open-for-burris-2009-01-04.html\">Harry Reid is sounding a bit more conciliatory towards Roland Burris<\/a>, saying that, &#8220;there\u2019s always room to negotiate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure what is going on here, except that Harry Reid has gotten played by Rod Blagojevich something fierce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not sure where to start, Minnesota, or Illinois&#8230;.coin flip&#8230;.Minnesota.
