Dannehy, the US Attorney assigned to investigate the politically motivated firings of US Attorneys, has been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/12\/02\/AR2008120203292.html?nav=rss_politics\">aggressively pursuing the case<\/a>, &#8220;meeting with defense lawyers, dispatching subpoenas and seeking information about the events.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, one of her investigators has <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com\/2008\/12\/gonzo_contacted_by_prosecutor.php\">formally contacted Alberto &#8220;Abu&#8221; Gonzalez<\/a>, which means that any lies or omissions to that investigator are handled under obstruction of justice, which is much easier to prove than perjury.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it appears that Nora R.
