Sarah Palin is not Cindy McCain, and the press won&#8217;t sweep this under the carpet for the &#8220;Maverick Straight Talker&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Heck, they wouldn&#8217;t sweep it under the carpet for Cindy McCain these days, they&#8217;ve been wringing their hands about how McCain now, and when you have a cover-up this blatant, people will keep looking.<\/p>\n<p>Mindless paranoid secrecy is almost always the worst course of action, which is why it&#8217;s so ironic that it bit them on the butt with Sarah Palin&#8217;s email.<\/p>\n<p>It seems that she was using Yahoo Email for much of her correspondence with staff, and someone from 4chan<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> hacked into her email <\/span>(<a href=\"http:\/\/politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com\/2008\/09\/18\/mccain-camp-seeks-investigation-over-reported-e-mail-hack-2\/\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gawker.com\/5051193\/sarah-palins-personal-email-account-hacked\">here<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/blogs\/bensmith\/0908\/Davis_on_hack_Shocking_invasion.html?showall\">here<\/a>), and then posted what they found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikileaks.org\/wiki\/Sarah_Palin_Yahoo_inbox_2008\">Wikileaks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">Note to self: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;font-size:85%;\" >Never ever<\/span><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"> piss off anyone from 4chan<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well Palin has now gotten her AG to instruct her employees not to honor subpoenas from the state senate, and the Anchorage Daily News cuts them a new one on this.
