The &#8216;Phants are still blocking it. <\/p>\n<p>Of interest, however, is that both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpmmuckraker.com\/archives\/005155.php\">Arlen Specter (R-PA)<\/a> and <br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpmmuckraker.com\/archives\/005156.php\"> Jay Rockefeller (D-WV)<\/a> will be voting with the Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Specter, of course, makes noises, and toes the line, and Rockefeller has been the champion of retroactive telco immunity.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s odd.<\/p>\n<p>I do not know what is going on, but this is very, very odd.<\/p>\n<p>FWIW, Sens. Mark Pryor (D-AR), Ben Nelson (D-NE), Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) and Mary Landrieu (D-LA) voted with the Republicans to end debate and amendments on the bill.<\/p>\n<p>FWIW, Landrieu is up next year in LA, but she will lose, as the ethnic cleansing of New Orleans has ensured that.<\/p>\n<p>No money to the DSCC.
