Iran has been <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.news.yahoo.com\/rtrs\/20071208\/tpl-uk-iran-oil-dollar-02bfc7e_1.html\">looking at this for years<\/a>, it set up a Euro denominated oil bourse about a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s possible that Venezuela may follow suit, but unless another major player jumps in (Nigeria, Indonesia, Russia) it won&#8217;t mean much.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, if one of them does, it will put significant downward pressure on the $US.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not a surprise.
