{"id":198685,"date":"2007-10-18T16:33:00","date_gmt":"2007-10-18T21:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2007\/10\/18\/chris-dodd-is-now-number-2-on-my-dem-candidates-list\/"},"modified":"2007-10-18T16:33:00","modified_gmt":"2007-10-18T21:33:00","slug":"chris-dodd-is-now-number-2-on-my-dem-candidates-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panix.com\/~msaroff\/40years\/2007\/10\/18\/chris-dodd-is-now-number-2-on-my-dem-candidates-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Chris Dodd Is Now Number 2 On My Dem Candidates List"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you are no doubt aware, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/10\/17\/AR2007101702438.html\">Senate caved to Bush and His Evil Minions\u2122 on indemnifying the telcos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Honorable Christopher Dodd (D-CT) <a href=\"http:\/\/tpmelectioncentral.com\/2007\/10\/exclusive_senator_chris_dodd_will_put_a_hold_on_telecom_immunity_bill.php\">has put a hold on the bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As I have said before, this amnesty <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/40yrs.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/brkk-white-house-to-give-senate-intel.html\">is about covering up the fact that Bush used the telcos to spy on his political opponents<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Any Senator in the race who does not do all they can to strike this provision (yes, that means signing on to a filibuster) will not get my vote for President, that means you, Clinton, Biden, and Obama.<\/p>\n<p>For Senator Obama it means <span style=\"font-variant: small-caps;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">showing up for the votes and taking a stand<\/span><\/span>.  I know that you are running for president, but it seems that you are dodging these votes.<\/p>\n<p>As to why Dodd is #2 on my list, behind Edwards, while is he is great on non-economic interests, I think that he is not as good on non-economic issues, particularly those dealing with Wall Street, though considering that 1\/3 of Wall Street lives in Southern Connecticut, I&#8217;m not surprised.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you are no doubt aware, the Senate caved to Bush and His Evil Minions\u2122 on indemnifying the telcos.
