(the Neanderthal) Bartlett, who is generally (he&#8217;s a realist on global warming) to the right of Atilla the Hun.<\/p>\n<p>This is a rather conservative region in Maryland, and so when he voted against S-Chip, I rather imagine that he thought that it would play well there. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/10\/15\/washington\/15health.html?ex=1350100800&amp;en=4de50f5be97835f2&amp;ei=5090&amp;partner=rssuserland&amp;emc=rss\">It appears that he was wrong<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 153);\"><p>\u201cThe war does not divide Roscoe from this district,\u201d said Ms. Dougherty, a Democrat who was the mayor of Frederick from 2002 to 2006. \u201cBut S-chip is a Main Street issue. It affects family after family \u2014 our family health, our family\u2019s pocketbook, and our grandchildren. All politics is local, and this is a local issue.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you live in Bartlett&#8217;s district, call his office, and tell him to vote for the override.<\/p>\n<p>I might that you look at <a href=\"http:\/\/duckforcongress.org\/\">Andrew Duck for Congress<\/a>.
