Clint follows Viki in kicking Antonio's ego to the curb

The number of One Life to Live fans who don't like Antonio Vega are legion, and cheering as this week, Jessica's parents, Viki and Clint, have both told Antonio to get with the program or get out of Jessica's life.

Let's see: Jessica has DID and has been living as Tess for a while, and all Antonio cares about is himself. His own sexual needs came first about two weeks ago when Jessica resurfaced and went back home with Antonio to Llanview.

First, Viki tore him a new one for not telling her what was happening. Then the recast Clint Buchanan (Jerry ver Dorn from Guiding Light) also told him to get a grip. Meanwhile, by comparison, Nash has been rather understanding about the Jess/Tess conundrum. Nash might still prove to be a con man, but he's showing more real understanding than Antonio ever has.

Jerry ver Dorn has big shoes to fill, since Clint Richie looms large in the memories of OLTL fans everywhere. He's done a good job in the past two weeks, and telling off Antonio gives him major points in my book. It's time Antonio started getting his head handed back to him from time to time.
