But nothing serious. I have taken just over twenty thousand pictures with my D7000. Before that, I took nearly twelve thousand pictures with my D40.

To date, I’ve kept about 10000 of them. One in Four. That’s not bad.

But recently, I’ve not been having the kind of success I am used to getting. I’m not seeing things as I had been. For whatever reason, looking at the world through the lens of my Nikon hasn’t been fun. That’s been frustrating.

So last week, I tried to kickstart the habit again. I walked to the Superbowl party at Birch and Barley on the far side of town. I took my time and my camera. “Let’s see what happens.” I got some good pictures too, so I am taking that as progress. Hopefully it continues. I want the frustration to end, so taking pictures becomes fun again.
