Gasoline/Petro Cheaper Now than Ever

This is a graph depicting the cost of gasoline, in both real dollars and inflation adjusted dollars. In terms of inflation adjusted dollars, it starts at about $1.30 per gallon in 1950 and gradually decreases to ninety cents in the early seventies. It jumps around 1974 to $1.20 then surges to almost $1.80 in 1980. It then falls off to around ninety cents in 1992.
