The MAK-90

The Mak-90 is a commercial version of the AK-47 assault rifle. Although this weapon is one the of assault weapons banned, it should be noted that data from states and big cities show that military look-alikes constitute 0-3% of guns used in crime and constitute only 1.5% of guns seized by police. Rifles, including semi-autos, are involved in only 3% of homicides.

Also, history buffs will note that the AK-47 is actually a soviet copy of a german made weapon from WWII. The MP-43, which was used in Russia after 1942.
According to the *true* definition of an assault weapon, the weapon must be capable of automatic firing. That means that the weapon should file multiple rounds of ammuntion even thought the trigger was only pulled (an held in position) once.
This weapon and others like it, are only capable of firing in semi-automatic mode. That is, you must pull the trigger once for each time you want to fire.
